METAXA 5 Stars Grapes
Ingredients:
40 ml METAXA 5 Stars
20 ml Cointreau
20 ml lemon
10 ml sugar syrup
Garnish grapes, fresh mint leaves, sugar with ground cinnamon for the rim of glass
Directions:
Muddle grapes and mint in shaker.
Add all the ingredients with ice.
Shake, double strain and pour into a glass with sugar and ground cinnamon on the rim.
Garnish with grapes and mint.
METAXA Greek Spritz
Ingredients:
40 ml METAXA 7 Stars
40 ml Prosecco or other sparkling wine
20 ml splash tonic
3 dash peach bitters or peach juice
Garnish with a peach wedge
Directions:
Pour METAXA into a red wine glass. Add the peach bitters or juice and ice to the glass and stir. Add the Prosecco or other sparkling wine, the tonic, and garnish with a peach wedge.
METAXA Mediterranean Paloma
Ingredients:
50 ml METAXA 5 Stars
10 ml sugar (or honey syrup)
10 ml lime
60 ml of grapefruit soda
Garnish: Grapefruit wedge
Garnish: Salt rim
Directions:
Rim a highball glass with salt. Add all ingredients to the highball glass. Stir gently. Top up with grapefruit soda and garnish with a grapefruit wedge.
METAXA Sour
Ingredients:
50 ml METAXA 12 Stars
20 ml lemon juice
10 ml sugar syrup
20 ml egg white (optional)
2 dashes Angostura Bitters
Garnish: Lemon zest
Directions:
Pour all ingredients in shaker with ice.
Strain over ice into a double old fashioned glass.
Garnish with lemon zest.
