ATHENS – The dates of the deliberations between Greece and the United Kingdom for the Parthenon Marbles will be sought through diplomatic channels, stated on Sunday Culture and Sports Minister Lina Mendoni in an interview with Athens-Macedonian News Agency.

The Minister explained that Greece “is totally prepared” for a positive outcome while she referred to the reasons that the Greek claim is touching the world. “The international community is entitled to see the masterpiece in its whole, reunited, here at the Acropolis Museum and not divided between Athens and London”.

On recent British Museum representatives’ statements pointing out the most improtant ‘milestones’ in the Parthenon Marbles reunification case as the Decision of the Intergovermental Committee of Unesco in 2021 and the spectacular reversal of the British public opinion.

For the first time, Greek voters in the homeland and the Diaspora will be able to participate in elections for the European Parliament for the first time on June 9.
