Greek-American James A. Koshivos, 21, Killed after Car Plunged into Ocean
FALMOUTH, MA – The police in Falmouth have identified the victim in an accident involving a car plunging into the ocean on February 20, NBC10 Boston reported.
LOWELL, MA – Andrew Routsis , 63, of Dorado Puerto Rico, formerly of Dracut Massachusetts, passed away unexpectedly. Andrew was born on February 12, 1958 a son of the late Christos and Effie (Kalantzakos) Routsis. He was a graduate of UMass Lowell- School of Plastics Engineering, Class of 1980. Andy was also an Adjunct Professor of Plastics Engineering from 1995-2015 at the UMass-Lowell University.
Andy relished life and was always eager to learn new things and experience the world. He was an avid photographer and world traveler, documenting through his pictures all his exotic trips: India, Malaysia, Africa, Greece, Japan, Australia, and many places in Europe just to name a few of his adventures. Lately he could be found brushing up his golf skills on the course at The Ritz, in Dorado, Puerto Rico, where he was a member.
Andy was also well known in his field of Plastics Engineering. He was the owner of Routsis Training and was active in many organizations in his industry. Andy will be dearly missed by all.
Andy leaves behind by his longtime companion Mary Morris; his brother David Routsis and his wife Donna, and their daughter, Dana C. Routsis, his brother Daniel Routsis and his wife Karine Tadevosyan Routsis and their children, Christina, and Alexander; his aunts Stella Hantzis, Eve Soroken, and Frances Cassidy, and his uncle Nick Kalantzakos and numerous cousins and many friends.
His Funeral Service was held at the Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Church, Lowell Mass and interment at Westlawn Cemetery.
