Mediterranean News Agencies Pledge to Promote and Support Sustainable Growth

ATHENS – The Dubrovnik forum organised in the context of the General Assembly of the Alliance of Mediterranean News Agencies (AMAN) was concluded on Wednesday with the adoption of a declaration for the need to promote sustainable growth.

With the declaration that was unanimously adopted by the present members of AMAN, the news agencies members of the alliance committed to take actions to support and promote sustainable growth at an international level and especially in the Mediterranean region.

In the context of the general assembly, the president and general director of Athens-Macedonian News Agency Emilios Perdikaris proposed the redesigning of the AMAN website (https://www.aman-alliance.org/data/body.php) in a more modern form, something that was unanimously adopted by all the participants.

At this year’s general assembly, the Athens-Macedonian News Agency completed its three-year tenure of AMAN’s board.
