Man Arrested for Paint Attack on Parliament to Face Criminal Charges

ATHENS – A public prosecutor on Wednesday brought criminal charges against the 36-year-old man arrested as a suspect for the paint and smoke-grenade attack on parliament the previous day.

The suspect, who police consider linked to the Greek anarchist group ‘Rouvikonas’ (Rubicon), has been charged with causing damage to a historic monument and the case has been referred to an examining magistrate.
