Meropi Kyriacou Honored as TNH Educator of the Year
NEW YORK – Meropi Kyriacou, the new Principal of The Cathedral School in Manhattan, was honored as The National Herald’s Educator of the Year.

A few minutes after the 112 messages to the villages of Kapandriti and Polydendri, a new emergency message via 112 was sent from the civil protection service: "If you are in Malakasa or in the settlement Sfendali evacuate now towards Oropos using the Athens-Oropos road".
Those in Polydendri and Kapandriti received yet another message on Friday, telling them to evacuate toward Varnava-Nea Makri via the Marathonas-Kapandriti road.
