Maids of Athena District 6 Lodge Attends Leadership Conference

WASHINGTON, DC – The Maids of Athena from District 6 recently made their way to Washington, DC, for the highly anticipated annual leadership conference, where members of the AHEPA family from all over gathered to share ideas, inspire one another, and strengthen their commitment to service and engagement.

The conference, held over three days, featured a packed day aimed at enhancing leadership skills among the attendees and kicking off the year. Participants engaged in sessions covering topics such as effective communication, community activism, and personal development. Notable speakers, including successful leaders from various sectors, shared their journeys and offered practical advice on overcoming challenges and embracing opportunities.

The Maids of Athena are known for their commitment to philanthropic efforts, and this year’s conference emphasized the importance of engagement, upcoming events, and how to run a smooth, effective year. Attendees participated in discussions about potential service projects that could be initiated back home, fostering a spirit of collaboration and innovation.
