MACON, GA – It’s been a long time coming – and waiting by customers – but after a six-year hiatus, owner Arty Passias has reopened the Greek Corner Deli in Macon, Georgia, offering a range of Greek and Mediterranean foods.
He’s been back in business since April and returned, he told The Telegraph, because, “I felt this area could use some fresh, healthy options. I am grateful to be back open,” after being away for so long.

Corner Greek Deli originally opened in 2008 but he sold the location in 2018 and the new version is in a different spot which he said allows the restaurant to reach more customers and gain new regulars.
“We offer great food at a great price,” said Passias. “Come see us,” he added, not revealing what gave him the impetus to want to return to the business as many Greek diners and eateries around the United States have closed. He hopes what will keep people coming is the menu and he’ll be there behind the counter waiting.
