Lots More Ground to Cover in Talks

Nikos Christodoulides, Cyprus Government Spokesman, said on September 15 there is more ground to cover in the Cyprus reunification talks. He was speaking to reporters after the meetings between President Nicos Anastasiades and U.S. Assistant Secretary of State Victoria Nuland in the presence of Espen Barth Eide, special Adviser of the Secretary-General on Cyprus.

“Christodoulides pointed out the negotiations are not yet at the stage of give and take, adding that during the meetings they reviewed the current situation and talked about how the process will continue,” CNA reported.

“There is still a lot of ground to be covered,” he said.
