Liturgy at Athens Cathedral Led by Archbishop Ieronymos

ATHENS — A celebratory liturgy at the Athens Cathedral led by Archbishop Ieronymos of Athens and All Greece for the 200th anniversary of the Greek Revolution (1821) was held on Thursday, prior to a wreath-laying ceremony and a military parade.

The liturgy was attended by President Katerina Sakellaropoulou and Prime Minister Kyriakios Mitsotakis, who had earlier attended the hoisting of the Greek flag on the Acropolis, under the national anthem sung by soprano Anastasia Zanni.
