Light Quake Shakes Lesvos Island

MYTILENE – A 4.4-magnitude earthquake was recorded at 04:22 on Tuesday in the sea area 248 kilometers north-northeast of Athens, according to the Athens Geodynamic Institute.

The epicentre of the tremor was 28 km north of Sigri, Lesvos island, in a focal depth 5 kilometres.
