Light Quake Jolts Western Peloponnese

A light quake measuring 4.6 on the Richter scale was recorded at 00:40 on Saturday in the Ionian Sea. The quake was felt in the regions of Messinia and Ilia.

According to the Geodynamics Institute of Athens National Observatory the quake’s epicentre was located 53 km west, southwest of Kyparissia and its focal depth was 3.5 km.
