Light Earthquake Recorded 12km from the Island of Kasos

ATHENS — An earthquake measuring 4.4 on the Richter scale occurred at 14:18 on Sunday afternoon, in the sea about 12 km west-southwest of the island of Kasos in the Aegean and 401 km southeast of Athens, the Geodynamic Institute of the Athens National Observatory announced, on behalf of the four agencies making up the National Seismological Network.
