Letter to the Editor: Praise for Tripoulas on Greek Education

October 29, 2022

To the Editor:

I appreciate and wholeheartedly agree with Christopher Tripoulas’ very well written, spot-on Op Ed piece of October 15. I would like to add that in order to support Hellenic ‘paideia’ we must shift our focus from the building of huge white elephants to assuage a communal inferiority complex, to the more difficult but more rewarding religious and classical education of our Greek Orthodox children (and adults). This can only be accomplished by the methods suggested by Mr. Tripoulas.
