The recent midterm elections were a major disappointment for Republicans. In my opinion the face of this loss is Donald Trump. Instead of focusing on core issues, he takes the center of attention to the detriment of everyone else around him. He is too divisive a figure for Independent voters. As proof, most of his endorsements failed to win office. Therefore, it is time for the Republican party to move forward with fresh candidates. Both Ron DeSantis and Josh Hawley seem very enticing. Thank you for your time.
