Letter to the Editor: On Helping Greece Following the Fires

September 22, 2021

To the Editor:

I think since you are the only Greek paper in the United States, you should rally up everyone to help out Greece in a time like this. Greece is suffering big time and all of us should find a way to donate now to help these Greeks out anyway we can. You hardly hear it in the American news and the United States only sent one plane – so ridiculous – so they could do more. I think the Greek paper should find a way to open an account to let everyone know how to donate to this cause. People in Greece and the government will need a lot of help. If Greeks could find a way to donate to other charities, they should help our own people, too.

To the Editor: After reading a Letter to the Editor here entitled “Visiting Greece Is More Expensive This Year” (June 18), with the writer being from New York City, my personal experience is totally reversed.
