Letter to the Editor: Appreciation for Viewpoints

To the Editor:

As a longtime reader, I just wanted to express my thanks for the Viewpoints included each week, and especially for Dan Georgakas, who is a national treasure. His articles are a pleasure to read. It’s also rare to see such differing views in one newspaper from the various contributors, but it is important to continue the conversation even if we don’t agree all the time with everything expressed in the opinion articles. It is good to know that The National Herald helps keep the discussion going. Thank you and keep up the good work.

To the Editor: After reading a Letter to the Editor here entitled “Visiting Greece Is More Expensive This Year” (June 18), with the writer being from New York City, my personal experience is totally reversed.
