BINGHAMTON, NY – On February 20, Leonidas AHEPA Chapter 77 had the honor of initiating three new members to the brotherhood. The ceremony was held at the chapter lodge, housed since its inception at Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Church in Binghamton. AHEPA District 6 Warden and Syracuse Chapter 37 President Michael Labatos administered the oath to new members Peter Konstantakos, Paul Stefos, and Peter Stefos.
AHEPA Supreme Vice President Lou Atsaves and District 6 Lt. Governor Chris Pappis attended virtually. The chapter officers are President Alex Kermidas, Vice President James Anastos, Secretary Anastasios Stefos, and Treasurer Ernest Skiadas. Also in attendance from Syracuse Chapter 37 was Spiros Lostaros.

The historic AHEPA Chapter 77, established on July 12, 1925 and reactivated on May 27, 2018, recently sponsored their second annual successful coat drive in November 2021 for five of Binghamton’s city schools.
