BINGHAMTON, NY – Leonidas AHEPA Chapter 77, along with members of the Greater Binghamton, NY community gathered for a Greek Night at the Old Union Hotel banquet hall on April 30. Greek Night was sponsored by the Leonidas chapter to raise funds in order to grow their annual coat drive for needy children in local area schools and also to establish a scholarship fund for high school graduates and enrolled college students.
The chapter had the honor and pleasure of welcoming District 6 Governor Dean Moskos and his wife Stephanie. Leonidas chapter also welcomed members and their spouses from District 5, Alexander Hamilton Chapter 54 and District 6, John Valedes Westchester Chapter 51 to the dance.

Guests in attendance enjoyed live Greek music performed by The Aegean Duo from Rochester, NY, and also an array of homemade mezedes and glyka by chapter members.
Leonidas chapter thanked all the guests in attendance and the chapter members and supporters who were not able to attend the night’s festivities in person. In addition, they also thanked the staff of the Old Union Hotel banquet hall for their help to make the chapter’s first of many Greek Night dances a success.
