Laphroaig Quarter Cask: Bold Yet Mature

For the discerning Single Malt Scotch drinker, Laphroaig is – true to its motto – “the most richly flavoured of all malt whiskies.”

There are different versions of this smoky, peaty, and potent potion. An interesting one is the Quarter Cask.

Generically, a “quarter cask” is a smaller barrel, in which Scotch (and other fermented drinks) mature. The size of the barrel coupled with the misty sea air of the isle of Islay, where Laphroaig is produced, creates a spectacular combination of boldness and maturity in every sip.

At 96 proof, Laphroaig Quarter Cask more than packs a punch, so if you’re not used to it, go easy.
