Meropi Kyriacou Honored as TNH Educator of the Year
NEW YORK – Meropi Kyriacou, the new Principal of The Cathedral School in Manhattan, was honored as The National Herald’s Educator of the Year.
Ioannis Kasoulides, the Foreign Minister of Cyprus, wrapped visit to New York on Otober 3. He had a number meetings with counterparts in the context of the UN General Assembly session.
Kasoulides met on October 2 with the Foreign Ministers of Andorra and Bahrain. While on Thursday he had bilateral meetings with foreign ministers of Cuba, Samoa, Barbados, Libya and Iran.
“During the meetings, Kasoulides exchanged views with his counterparts on a range of topics, while he also promoted the candidacy of Ambassador Andreas Mavroyiannis on behalf of Cyprus, for the presidency of the 71st Session of the General Assembly of the United Nations,” accordin to CNA.
