KKE: Urgent Problems in Public Hospitals Can’t Be Swept Under the Carpet

November 27, 2020

ATHENS — Τhe urgent problems in public hospitals, especially those in the provincial towns that are now in the red zone, can't be swept under the carpet but have to be dealt with using emergency measures, the Communist Party of Greece (KKE) stated on Friday.

"Now, before it is too late, the government had to requisition private clinics and their staff without conditions and provisos and place critical facilities, such as retirement homes that continue to be hotbeds for transmitting the virus, under state control," KKE concluded.
