KKE: The People Will Pay Dearly for the Stronger Binding of Greece to US Plans

ATHENS – “Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis’ trip to the USA had as its main target an even stronger binding of Greece to the USA’s plans, whether these concern the economic-energy sector or the military and war sector, the Communist Party of Greece (KKE) said on Wednesday

In that regard, it added, the trip achieved its goals except that the Greek people will pay a very high cost for this “success”, both literally and metaphorically. Greeks will pay through even greater engagement in the imperialistic military plans and competitions, with higher energy poverty, with new ‘purchases of the century’ and a new round of NATO armaments, as well as with new perils for Greece’s sovereign rights for the sake of ensuring NATO’s cohesion, the party said.

BRUSSELS - A convicted member of Greece's neo-Nazi criminal gang hasn't been booted from the European Parliament and is still being paid – how he spends it kept secret – a German civil advocacy group suing to force disclosure.
