KKE Leader Koutsoumbas: The Pupils’ Demands Are Right and We Are on Their Side

ATHENS — Communist Party of Greece (KKE) leader Dimitris Koutsoumbas on Thursday said "the pupils are right and we all are on their side. The teachers, their parents support their just claims".

"There are solutions now. What is the government unable to understand?" said Koutsoumbas, adding that the pupils want fewer people in each classroom, for more classrooms to be found, the hiring of teachers, who are too few, and the hiring of additional school cleaners.

"These are justifiable demands and we are with them," stated Koutsoumbas regarding the high school student protests.
