KKE Leader Koutsoumbas Points Out Need for Mass Vaccination

December 27, 2020

ATHENS — Communist Party (KKE) leader Dimitris Koutsoumbas in an interview with the public broadcaster ERT on Sunday said that his party wants to send the message for mass vaccination.

He underlined that it is necessary for all the population to be vaccinated "without however covering or hiding or becoming the alibi for the necessity of shielding of the Public Health System and of the necessary protection measures that the government should apply, as the vaccination is a rather long procedure. Otherwise, without these necessary measures the pandemic will not be addressed and the right preparation for the mass vaccination is undermined. This is the message we want to send and of course we will be present".

Koutsoumbas is going to be vaccinated on Wednesday 30 December.
