KKE: Greece Cutting Health Spending at a Time When Health System Is Collapsing

November 24, 2020

ATHENS — "At a time when the public health system is collapsing, the government is not only failing to take any real measures to truly support it but tabling a state budget in which the spending on health is further reduced," the Communist Party of Greece (KKE) said on Tuesday.

"At the same time, money is generously offered to big private companies, in the name of 'saving them' from the repercussions of the pandemic. All the above reaffirms the government's priorities and the deeply antipopular nature of its policies," KKE commented.

ATHENS - The 5th session of the Greek-Turkish Joint Economic Committee concluded in Athens on Monday with the signing of a Protocol by Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs for Economic Diplomacy and Openness Kostas Fragogiannis and Turkish Deputy Minister of Trade, Mustafa Tuzcu.
