Kikilias Μeets with Chinese Ambassador Xiao Junzheng

ATHENS – Τourism Minister Vassilis Kikilias on Friday met with China’s Ambassador to Greece Xiao Junzheng. Kikilias referred to the importance of further enhancing the tourist promotion of Greece in the Chinese market through targeted intiatives and actions.

In this context, a joint programme of action for the tourist sector in 2022-2024 will be signed between the Greek tourism ministry and the Chinese tourism and culture ministry on Monday, March 14. This programme focuses on promoting national tourism and strengthening cooperation between the two countries in sectors such as cultural tourism, wedding tourism, medical tourism and wellness tourism.

On his part, Junzheng noted the importance of taking targeted actions, underlining his belief in the great potential that exists on a bilateral level in the field of tourism.
