Meropi Kyriacou Honored as TNH Educator of the Year
NEW YORK – Meropi Kyriacou, the new Principal of The Cathedral School in Manhattan, was honored as The National Herald’s Educator of the Year.
KASTORIA, Greece – The Kastoria Fur Association, organisers of the 46th Kastoria International Fur Exhibition that was scheduled for September 16-19, have announced the cancellation of the event due to the worsening conditions worldwide with respect to the pandemic.
The announcement said the decision was taken in light of World Health Organisation reports on the increase in Covid-19 cases, information from embassies in Greece concerning travel restrictions for those wishing to attend and the announcements of the Greek government that only vaccinated individuals will be allowed entrance into indoor spaces until March 2022.
The exhibition has been postponed until May 2022 but without setting a firm date.
