John Stamos to Star in New Show on Disney+

LOS ANGELES – Big Shot, a sports dramedy, premieres on Disney+ on April 16 and stars Greek-American John Stamos, as a temperamental basketball coach who finds himself coaching at an elite girl’s private school after he is fired from his previous job.

The show was featured in the New York Post on February 26 among the “the hottest TV shows slated for Spring 2021.”

The series was developed by Dean Lorey and David E. Kelley based on an original idea by Brad Garrett. Filming began in November 2019, but was delayed due to the COVID-19 pandemic lockdown, but has since resumed following all the current set health and safety measures.
