John Stamos on Tour with the Beach Boys as Special Guest

ROCHESTER HILLS, MI – Greek-American actor and musician John Stamos will be performing with The Beach Boys as a special guest during several of their upcoming concerts, MLive reported on May 21.

The ‘Full House’ star “will be at The Beach Boys’ only Michigan concert this year taking place at Meadow Brook Amphitheatre in Rochester Hills on Friday, July 5,” MLive reported, adding that tickets are available online: https://shorturl.at/SdNVe.

“Stamos has had a relationship with The Beach Boys dating back to July 4, 1985 when he played his first official show with the band at the Washington Monument in front of nearly one million people,” MLive reported, noting that “the band even appeared on an episode of ‘Full House’ and Stamos has also appeared in several of their music videos, including ‘Kokomo.’”

Stamos “also directed the video for their song ‘Hot Fun in the Summertime,’” MLive reported.

“I believe their songs have been patiently waiting for this moment, perfectly timed to uplift spirits, especially when needed the most,” said Stamos, MLive reported. “I’m humbled that I get to be part of something truly special, something bigger than ourselves. Fans of the iconic California band founded in 1961 can also enjoy ‘The Beach Boys,’ a new documentary which began streaming on Disney+ on May 24.
