NEW YORK – International Orthodox Christian Charities (IOCC) has organized a worldwide virtual bike ride in order to raise funds and awareness for the organization’s programs scheduled to take place on September 26.
More specifically, the funds will be used to support IOCC’s humanitarian work around the world in the midst of the COVID-19 crisis – including disaster response in the United States, emergency relief in Lebanon, and more.
The bike rides range from 1, 10, 50 or 100 miles and can be done either indoors or outdoors. Registration is $20 per person. All participants will receive a virtual bib that they can download and print, a virtual medal once the race is completed, and a personalized fundraising page to share. The top fundraiser will receive a handcrafted item from a country where IOCC works, and the participants with the top times in each category will receive an IOCC t-shirt.
In order to participate, individuals must register as an individual or a team at http://support.iocc.org/site/TR/RaceToRespond/General?fr_id=1390&pg=entry&AddInterest=1241 or mail their registration with “Virtual Bike Ride” in the memo to IOCC, 110 West Road, Suite 360, Baltimore, MD 21204.
