InvestGR Forum Puts Foreign Investment in Greece in Prime Position

September 6, 2020

ATHENS – As Greece hopes to lure foreign investors back to accelerate what had been a slow recovery from a near decade-long economic and austerity crisis – stymied when COVID-19 hit – InvestGR Forum will have a second online forum showing the way.

The first session of the 3rd InvestGR Forum 2020: Greece in the Pole Position took place July 1-16 and focused on why investors should take a chance now on the country and the next is set for Oct. 8-9 will feature politicians, CEOs, academics and experts discussing flagship investments, turning the crisis into an opportunity and especially putting money into infrastructure.

The founder of InvestGR Forum, Andreas Yannopoulos, said the first online session drew nearly 1,000 viewers and participants “so the bar is already high,” for the October meeting with hopes the pandemic will be winding down.

It is organized by Public Affairs and Networks with the support and under the auspices of the Greece office of the European Commission, the Ministry of Development and Investments, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Hellenic Federation of Enterprises (SEV) and backing from major media outlets in the country.

Strategic Partners include EY Greece and JTI, while sponsors also include Coca-Cola, Abbvie, Bayer, Ekome, HPE, Interamerican, MSD, Pfizer, Accensus, Lidl and NN. Registration is available at  http://investgr.eu/en/home-conference-en/
