Intense Concerns Over Work Left Undone by Some

The attempted assassination of Donald Trump is and will be at the forefront of the American elections on November 5th. The former President narrowly escaped death from the shots fired by Thomas Matthew Crooks. However, the information that is coming in is truly cause for significant and… disturbing thoughts.

According to WPXI-TV News Pittsburgh – citing witnesses – police officers saw a man on the roof, photographed him, and then reported it. Shortly thereafter, it was confirmed that the man in the photograph was Crooks. Additionally, other witnesses told WPXI that an officer was observing the perpetrator and even sent in his own report along with a new photograph. 25 minutes later, Crooks shot Donald Trump and unfortunately killed an innocent man.

The most peculiar and disturbing aspect, however, is that eyewitnesses had seen Crooks climbing onto the roof and pointed him out to the police officers – but they essentially let him ‘do his job’. Only after eight shots were fired did they immediately kill him… There are even videos and photographs of Crooks lying down holding something as if aiming or targeting. Videos that the New York Times also verified. Seriously, in an election period, with tensions running particularly high, with one of the two next presidents of the USA speaking on stage, and the police were… waiting? What if Crooks had been just one inch more accurate?

Furthermore, shortly before Donald Trump began his speech, the police had warnings from their colleagues and attendees that a man was moving suspiciously and irrationally. They let Trump start his speech, and a few minutes later, shots were fired. Truly, with the knowledge that someone might have something malicious in mind, even if only 0.1% of the people there, why weren’t the police officers right next to him, within an inch’s distance?

Additionally, as the Wall Street Journal reports, two Secret Service sniper teams were seen on rooftops behind former President Donald Trump, taking position towards the perpetrator less than two minutes before Crooks fired. Truly, couldn’t they send a unit to the rooftop where Crooks was?

All these details and many more raise numerous questions about how well the Secret Service and other officers did their jobs. In terms of prevention, which is the most crucial aspect in such cases, they failed miserably but fortunately not… fatally.
