Meropi Kyriacou Honored as TNH Educator of the Year
NEW YORK – Meropi Kyriacou, the new Principal of The Cathedral School in Manhattan, was honored as The National Herald’s Educator of the Year.
ATHENS – “When the prices do not fall, the government falls,” said main opposition SYRIZA-Progressive Alliance spokesperson Nassos Iliopoulos, speaking to Best TV on Tuesday evening.
“The country needs a progressive political change in order for things immediately get better for the vast social majority,” he underlined.
Iliopoulos said that his party is ready for elections whenever the government decides to hold them, while outlining the main points of his party’s programme and referring to “a write-off of part of the pandemic debt to save the small and medium sized enterprises, job positions and an increase of the minimum wage to 800 euros.”
