Iliopoulos: The Gov’t and Its Ruthless Political Staff Will Lose the Elections

September 6, 2022

ATHENS – Main opposition SYRIZA-Progressive Alliance spokesperson Nassos Iliopoulos said that “the government and its ruthless political staff will lose the elections,” while speaking to Kontra Channel late on Monday about the phone tapping case. “The next parliament will certainly have a progressive majority, will set up an investigation committee and the responsibilities that will be revealed will be attributed,” he added.

Regarding a possible change of the electoral law, he said that the “government is playing with the electoral law and the result is the absurdities we are experiencing these days. What is certain is that the government will be defeated in the elections and ahead of them it will resort to a series of tacticalisms,” he said.
