Iliopoulos: Measures Announced by Government Part of “The Same Failed Recipe”

ATHENS — "The government has announced measures in the framework of the same failed recipe," claimed main opposition SYRIZA-Progressive Alliance spokesperson Nassos Iliopoulos, speaking late Monday on BlueSky TV.

"On March 4, the prime minister told us that we are entering the final stretch of the battle with COVID-19 and today there is not a single ICU bed empty in Attica's hospitals. Either he lied intentionally or he is simply unaware. In any case he is dangerous," Iliopoulos said.

On the government's policy against the pandemic he underlined that "it's the government main political choice to leave the private sector out of the battle".
