Iliopoulos: A Modern Extreme Right, a Strong Altright Exists in ND

ATHENS – Main opposition SYRIZA-Progressive Alliance spokesperson Nassos Iliopoulos claimed a “New Democracy connection with extreme right forces” in an interview late Wednesday with Kontra TV.

“In New Democracy, there is a strong alt right, a modern extreme right,” Ilipoulos said, and explained that is defined by a pecular mixture of authoritarianism and extreme neoliberalism.

At the same time, he accused the government of doing everything possible to “plunder the Greek people’s wealth and spend public money, while at the same time dismantling every labour right.”

Finally, Iliopoulos said that the government is to responsible for the health tragedy the country is experiencing.
