HPW Presents Greek Dance for Wellness & Kefi with Yia Mas Founder Headrick

NEW YORK – Hellenic Professional Women (HPW) presents Greek Dance for Wellness and Kefi with Yia Mas founder Kristina Headrick on Thursday, June 11, 8-9 PM EDT.

This free online workshop looks at Greek dancing traditions as a tool for expression and wellness. Headrick will discuss the rich ancient history of Xoros in Hellenic culture, the ways it improves your health and then make it experiential by moving in a safe, non-competitive environment.

More information is available on Eventbrite, search: Greek Dance for Wellness and Kefi.

Headrick also shared the "Yia Mas ~ Nisiotika playlist, an easy way to channel that Greek summer feeling (if you've felt it, you know what we're talking about). We've chosen songs from all over the islands. I hope these bring you as much cheer as they bring to me. Island music tends to be lighter – one can almost feel the breeze and rollicking waves of the sea. Click here to listen and make sure to "Follow" the playlist on Spotify!"
