WASHINGTON – The Chief of the Hellenic National Defence Staff Konstantinos Floros, in the context of his official visit to the USA, met with US Senate Committee on Foreign Relations Chair, Senator Bob Menendez, in Washington.
In a post on Facebook, Floros stated among others “We discussed the situation in the Eastern Mediterranean, Greek-US strategic cooperation and the contribution of the armed forces to Greece’s role as a pillar of stability and security”.
Floros also met with Assistant Secretary of State for Political-Military Affairs Jessica Lewis. In a post on Facebook he said that they discussed the security challenges after the Russian invasion of Ukraine and the prospect of deepening the cooperation between the US and Greece at regional and alliance level.
