Historic Pilgrimage to Constantinople – April 2022

NEW YORK – His Eminence Archbishop Elpidophoros of America is pleased to announce the second Archdiocesan Centennial Pilgrimage to Constantinople from April 15-21, 2022. This pilgrimage will be led by His Grace Bishop Athenagoras of Nazianzos, with the unique opportunity for you to participate in the preparation of Holy Chrism (Άγιο Μύρο) at the Ecumenical Patriarchate. A truly rare and blessed ceremony that occurs only once each decade.
Spend Palm Sunday at the Patriarchal Cathedral of St. George with His All-Holiness Ecumenical Patriarch Bartholomew presiding. And what better way to start Holy Week than in the old city at holy places like Agia Sophia, and end your pilgrimage with His All-Holiness consecrating the Holy Chrism, while still making it back in time to celebrate Pascha in America.
Spots are limited. For more information regarding the itinerary, pricing, and to reserve your place, kindly contact Cloud Tours at (718) 721-3808 or email [email protected].
