Meropi Kyriacou Honored as TNH Educator of the Year
NEW YORK – Meropi Kyriacou, the new Principal of The Cathedral School in Manhattan, was honored as The National Herald’s Educator of the Year.
Victoria Nuland, Assistant Secretary of State for European and Eurasian Affairs will be in Cyprus September 14-15 for meetings with President Nicos Anastasiades, Turkish Cypriot leader Mustafa Akinci, and other Cypriot officials. They will talk about U.S.-Cypriot relations and regional issues.
Nuland’s trip in intended “to convey continued U.S. support for a fair and lasting settlement of the Cyprus problem through the process facilitated by the U.N. Secretary General’s Good Offices Mission,” according to a State Dept. press release.
