High Temperatures to Prevail in Greece Until Next Week

November 5, 2021

ATHENS – High temperatures for the time of year will prevail over the next few days in Greece, according to Athens National Observatory’s meteo service, which forecast on Friday that temperatures will be up to 6-7 degrees higher than the average for November.

The movement of hot masses of air from Africa to Greece will raise temperatures until Monday at least, while Eastern Europe in general will be the hottest part of Europe.

At the same time, atmospheric conditions in the next few days will favour the transfer of dust from northern Africa, mostly to the western parts of Greece where the concentrations will be high.
