Meropi Kyriacou Honored as TNH Educator of the Year
NEW YORK – Meropi Kyriacou, the new Principal of The Cathedral School in Manhattan, was honored as The National Herald’s Educator of the Year.
ATHENS – Temperatures in Greece will gradually rise in the next days. According to National Meteorological Service’s emergency report, the highest temperatures are expected to reach 40C-41C however, the lowest temperatures will not be particularly high.
On Wednesday, temperatures will reach 38C to 39C in mainland Greece and 35C in the islands from Wednesday to Friday.
On Thursday, the highest temperatures expected to prevail in Greece are 40C-41C.
There will be a drop in temperatures on Friday and Saturday but a new rise is expected on Sunday 26 June.
Temperatures in Athens on Wednesday and Thursday will reach 38C-39C.
It is noted that on Thursday afternoon in Thrace and Macedonia there will be thunderstorms and gusty winds.
