High School and College Graduates Honored at St. Demetrios in Upper Darby, PA

UPPER DARBY, PA – On the Sunday of the Samaritan Woman, June 2, St. Demetrios Greek Orthodox Church in Upper Darby, PA, honored high school and college graduates. Both the presiding priest of the community, Fr. Alexandros Kaitidis, and Parish Council President Michael Economou wished the graduates success in their personal and professional lives. Subsequently, in a deeply emotional atmosphere, the Greek School bid farewell to Mrs. Anna Limbanovnou.

The St. Demetrios Community thanked and honored Mrs. Anna for her 50 years of service to the Greek School, the Sunday School, and the Philoptochos Society. Mrs. Anna served as a teacher at the Greek School, imparting her love for the Greek language to thousands of students. Visibly moved, she thanked everyone she collaborated with over the years and promised to continue contributing to the Sunday School and the Community.
