Meropi Kyriacou Honored as TNH Educator of the Year
NEW YORK – Meropi Kyriacou, the new Principal of The Cathedral School in Manhattan, was honored as The National Herald’s Educator of the Year.
ASTORIA – Hermes AHEPA Chapter 186 held its initiations at the Aldo’s Club on June 13. They welcomed four new Brothers including Nick Mousadakos, Nick Konstantakos, Nick Konstantopoulos, and Anthony Sideris. Hermes 186 President and AHEPA District 6 Director of Hellenism Billy Chrissochos, presided over the wonderful ceremony. Many thanks to District 6 Secretary George Zouvelos, who was present to initiate the new members. Also, great job to Warden John Gerasoulis and Captain of the Guard Peter Giakoumis for creating the perfect atmosphere for the new recruits. Br. Chrissochos also congratulated the upcoming board elect President Peter Argyropoulos, VP Iggy Terranova, Secretary Peter Giakoumis, and Treasurer George Giakoumis. He stated he is always there to help in anyway and together we can all make a difference to promote and preserve our Hellenism, Orthodoxy, Philanthropic, and Civic responsibilities.
