Hellenic Navy to Temporarily House Refugees Arriving in Greece

ATHENS – Α Hellenic Navy vessel is sailing to the island of Lesvos, to be used as temporary housing for refugee and migrant families that arrived in Greece on or after March 1.

Migration and asylum ministry sources told the Athens-Macedonian News agency that the ship will only be used to house families, while the rest of the newcomers will be held in either police stations or pre-departure centres.
