Meropi Kyriacou Honored as TNH Educator of the Year
NEW YORK – Meropi Kyriacou, the new Principal of The Cathedral School in Manhattan, was honored as The National Herald’s Educator of the Year.
NEW JERSEY – The Hellenic Federation of New Jersey Ninth Annual Awards Banquet takes place Sunday, June 12, at The Graycliff, 290 Moonachie Avenue in Moonachie, NJ, with cocktails at 5 PM and dinner 6 PM.
The event honors educator Demosthenes Triantafillou with the Aristotle Award, Consul General of Greece in New York Dr. Konstantinos Koutras with Alexander the Great Community Service Award, United States Congressman Frank Pallone with the Alexander the Great Public Service Award, and Dr. Panos Stavrianidis, Nikitas Moustakas, Esq., and Anna Zalokostas with the Meritorious Service Award.
The event also includes the presentation of the Scholarship Awards.
