Helicopter on Fire at Eleftherios Venizelos Airport, Pilot Rescued

ATHENS – Α helicopter caught fire on Tuesday afternoon at Athens International Airport Eleftherios Venizelos. According to the initial information about the incident, the pilot has been rescued and collected by an ambulance, while the Fire Brigade has put out the fire.

An air accident investigation team is at the scene to conduct an inquiry into the cause of the fire.
