FLUSHING, NY – The Gus Cherevas Estia-Pindus AHEPA Chapter 326 of Flushing, Queens, hosted its 7th Annual Cigar Night Fundraiser at Terrace on the Park on September 16. The fundraiser was held to support the growth of Camp St. Paul. The fundraiser was a success, and the chapter raised approximately $30,000 of which all the proceeds will go to support the capital program of Camp St. Paul.
Camp St. Paul’s Director, Fr. Elias Villis was honored and elated to have received such generous support. He thanked the chapter, saying: “Your generosity, your love and dedication to this ministry will be something long lasting by donating the funds collected at your Cigar Night Event to help build this most sacred ministry.”

Among those present were AHEPA Supreme President Jimmy Kokotas, Chairman of the Board of Directors Nicholas Karacostas, Executive Director Basil Mossaidis, and Empire District 6 Governor Dean Moskos.
The Gus Cherevas Estia-Pindus Chapter 326 has raised over $250,000 in the past seven years, and has generously donated to great causes such as the St. Nicholas National Shrine Church at Ground Zero, the purchase of two Service Dogs for Veterans with PTSD, the making of the documentary film Lethal Nationalism: Genocide of the Greeks, Ronald McDonald House, the St. Nicholas Flushing Church and its Youth Programs, Scholarships, and other worthwhile causes.
