ATHENS – Helli Pangalou, Landscape Architect and co-designer, along with Deborah Nevins, of the Stavros Niarchos Park, invites us to discover the Water Jets, one of the Park’s most popular meeting spots, especially during the summer.
This unique installation extends both a challenge to children to wind their way between the jets without getting wet, and an invitation to play with the water and cool down. The spurt of water shooting up into the sky, the rustle of the breeze between the branches of the plane trees, laughter and cries of excitement are the sounds that prevail at the Water Fountains, bringing us closer to nature and evoking the carefree summers of childhood.
The design and construction of the Stavros Niarchos Park as an open, public space, welcoming and accessible to everyone, with a strong emphasis on sustainability and the protection of the environment, is the result of the vision of the SNF for the Stavros Niarchos Foundation Cultural Center (SNFCC).
ATHENS - Αfter the recent pause due to the pandemic, Αrt Athina returns to Zappeion with the largest participation ever (81 in number) of Greek and foreign galleries.
